Please help regarding my APP-221-g.

Hi Friends.

I got received 221-g ( AAP, application being sent to USCIS ) , two months back.

Yes'day my cousin in USA called to National Visa Service Center, asked about my 221-g. They said they didn't receive any application from Chennai consulate..

But 20 days back chennai consulate people called to my company, asked my HR whether iam working here or not.

Please suggest me friends , why they didn't send it yet.

Please tell me i have forgotten to ask them my I797,so it is with Vo.As she returned back my certificates .And asked for xerox copies of dat.will they send back to me.How much time will it take.and moreover they have kept my current company dox too.It was exactly on 5 dec 2006.How should i contact them to know my status.

please help me.
