Which consulate should my wife be going

I am from chennai and my wife is from calcutta. I had come to US one year back on H1B visa and now would like to book interview for my wife. I wanted to know which consulate should she be going to. Should she be going to Chennai consulate, because my H1B was stamped there or should she be going to Calcutta consulate, because she is staying there for the last one year. Her passport was issued at Calcutta. Thanking you in advance for your suggestions.

If She can speak English, she can attend the interview at any consulate. Recently, I mailed VFS whether I can book the slot at Delhi (I belong to AP) and the they told me it is fine if I speak Engish.
