I was working on a L1 B since Apr'2004 for employer 'A'. I had employer 'B' apply for a H1 for me. This approval came in June'2006 while I was still in the U.S. I could only work commencing Oct'2006 for employer'B'. Meanwhile, I had to leave the U.S because the assignment that I was working on for employer'A' got over. I again traveled back to U.S after getting my L-1 stamped again on my passport. I still have my H-1 approval from employer ' B' with the I-94 attached expiring in 2008. Question is, can I now switch to my H1 for employer'B'? Is my H-1 still valid or is it deemed expired since I traveled back to U.S on my L-1?
