Proof of degrees and travel while H1B is pending

Hello Sir/Madam,

My name is Bhupesh Mishra and I have a question regarding H1B Visa.

1) I Went for a VISA interview for my H1B to the Ottawa Consulate General, Canada and after reviewing my application they said that as I don’t have a US degree and as my H1B was approved based upon my Indian degrees and my education in Canada, they need to verify if my degrees are real or **** and they told the verification will take at least 3 months. Now it’s already 3 months and I haven’t heard anything from them and whenever I call it goes on answering machine. What do you suggest me to do from my side?

2) I am already in US on a Visitor VISA and my I-94 is valid up till March’ 07. I want to travel to India to meet my parents, Can I travel as I already have a 10yrs Visitor VISA to the US and an I-94 valid till March’07. Will there be any problem returning to the US as my H1B is in verification?

Can you please send me you advice on this as I am really concerned about my H1B?

2. You can travel. There should not be any problem because of pending H1B.
