  • H1 Stamping

    Hi Subramanya,
    Please give me your suggestions.

Here are my H1 paper details
    First H1 Sep 2003 - July 2004 Old employer
    Second H1 July 2004 - Feb 2006 Old Employer
    Third H1 Feb 2006 - Dec 2007 New Employer

Among these period I was in bench from Sep 2003 to July 2004. I have been hearing that there may be chance of rejecting visa as per rule we are not supposed to stay in H1 without getting paid not more than 3- 6 months. They need medical proof if we have taken any Medical leave.

    Here are my questions:
    1.Will this be a problem?
2.what should I tell them if they ask about that period?
    3. My old employer is not willing to help me and he won't be giving any Paid time off certificate for that period. In worst case he can give only 2 months as training period.
    4. Is is good to go for stamping in canada or mexica rather going to Chennai, India ?

    Please give suggestions from experience.

Also others, Please throw your experience if some one might have already faced the same kind of situation.

    Thanks in advance
