Dear Sir,
I have received full documentation of my H1-B from my US Employer including original H1-B approval Letter.
1. When my H1-B was initiated in April 2006 I was employed in India.
2. From May 2006 , I have taken employment in Kuwait and thus become resident of Kuwait.
3. H1 Approval has been mentioned about US Consulate India.
4. My US Employer has sent the complete documents to Kuwait address as now I have been employed and working in Kuwait since last May 2006.
5. The lawyer of the US Company has mentioned to me that if the Original H1 B approval letter can be presented to US Consulate of Kuwait for obtaining Visa processing.
Clarification Required :
In the H1-B approval letter that I have noticed that there is a mention that approval for change of consulate from India to
Kuwait (in my case) is to be obtained through I-824.
I shall be grateful if u can clarify whether I can present my papers with original H1 B US Consulate in Kuwait without I-824 clearance. Or I shall
again request my US employer to get the change of Consulate through through I-824.
