Hi,
I was working for company A till the end of december 2006 and got laid off. The company has taken me back now and can join anytime soon. Since its been just a month and my H1B is with that company, the lawyer said that there is no need for me to worry about H1B and can join immediately. I want to know if I can get my H1B stamped right now, before I start to work again. There wont be any pay checks for the month of jan and I want to know if that is ok. I can show till december. Is there any kind of letter that I can take from the company? What should it explicitly say? It will be very helpful, if I am given the right help with this.
