H1B extension and I-140 approved

Hi,

I have to go for H1B extension and I have I-140 approved so in DS-156 form do I need to select the option that somebody has applied Immigration status on your behalf(my employer) or I need to wait till I-485 comes. Please let me know me know your suggestions.

If I need to select the option what are the papers I have to carry. Does anybody had this experience.

H1b extension

H1 status allows you to have dual intent for permanent residency, so you have to mention that you have already applied for Immigration and there is no any negative impact on your H1.
