time gap for filing H1 if entered on H4???

    time gap for filing H1 if entered on H4???

    Hi all,
    Is there a _recommended_ time period after which I can apply for H1 if originally entered on H4. In other words if I enter US around april, is it ok to immediately apply for H1? Will it be a potential problem when going for the stamping later?

    any insight is appreciated.
