H1B Consulate Selection in India

Hi All,

I am planning to take the stamping date by next week sometime.

In my I129, consultant has given Delhi Consulate as i had asked him for Delhi.

My permanent residence is near to Delhi.

But i am staying in bangalore for 4-5 yrs.

Is there any issues in taking the stamping place as Delhi Consulate instead of Chennai.

The rule says consulate should be selected which is near to the current resident state.

Please suggest me what should i reply in case i go to delhi consulate and they ask me the reasons for selecting Delhi consulate.

if you can speak gud english which i believe u can, u can attend the interview anywhere in india.
