Hi Friends,
I have 2 Queries
1.Can the SSN be processed From Offshore ?, For getting SSN it is taking 3 to 4 weeks in some states of U.S.

2.Can the Period of H1B visa status is Extended,as it has taken 1 yr for getting the Queries resolved in visa process in some of the typical cases.,So there is loss of 1yr in Visa Process ,left with only 2 yrs.

---- NO. Unless you are working for a US company offshore and you have a valid and unexpired Visa and have entered the US territories through a legal POE

2.Can the Period of H1B visa status is Extended,as it has taken 1 yr for getting the Queries resolved in visa process in some of the typical cases.,So there is loss of 1yr in Visa Process ,left with only 2 yrs.

---- If you have applied for a renewal of the H1 and later applied for a H1 Visa and you had to stay out of the country for one year, it is possible that the next time you apply for a renewal you can recapture the period of your stay outside the US
