H1B Stamping without I-129 papers -Urgent

Do we need to carry I-129 papers along with H1B approval for H1B stamping?.My HR says they have misplaced my I-129 papers they just gave me my 7th year H1B approval notice.
I have blocked my H1B stamping date in Chennai US consulate on May 21st. Now i am not sure if can go for US consulate for stamping with out I-129 papers. You response is appreciated.How to get a copy of my I-129 papers?

---- You can try and attend the interview without the I-129 papers, but that depends on the VO who is interviewing you and what they are looking for. The only way to get a copy is thru teh HR dept. or if your employer had engaged an attorney to smoothen the process, should be having a copy
