    Dear Sir/Madam,

I recently got my H1B visa stamped from the Mumbai consulate. On the visa, I found that my middle name and surname have been swapped as there is no distinction of my surname and middle name on my passport. All my petition-related documents have the correct order of name.

    Actual:
    Middle Name – aaaa
    Surname – bbbb

    On Visa:
    Middle Name – bbbb
    Surname – aaaa

Kindly request you to guide me through the process of getting it corrected.

    Thanking you,

    Regards

    kiran

---- Just go by what the US Consulate has written to you. Getting that piece of information corrected will put you to greater trouble and you will only waste your time
