L2 to H4 Stamping Question

Hi,

I had L2 and returned to India in Feb 2007. Now I have H4 (OCT2006)approved documents and my husband is working in US on H1 approved documents , not yet went for stamping. Is it possible to go to H4 stamping in May 2007 in Chennai with H1 and H4 approved documents (with out H1 stamping) .

I would appreciate your help . Thanks a lot in advance.
