I recvd a call from N delhi consulate
and was asked to get my passport &
come to Delhi from bangalore.

I had previously attended interview on March 22nd got
a Yellow tag (H1 --AAP processing under 221(g)).

Since, im based in Bangalore i need
to book my airtickets to Delhi/.
Kindly let me know, why they want
me in person..i didnt receive any email from consulate as such
just a telephone call.
But i did send an email abt this.I already have
a B1/B2 visa apprvd till 2014.

Do let me know, what does this imply? and
why they are asking for drop box instead as is
usually the case.

---- Your case has been appproved and you are asked to come to Delhi for getting the Visa stamped on the Passport. the peresonal appearance is for the verification of last minute details (minor) that they want to confirm by asking you in person.

---- Just go to Delhi, get your Visa stamped on the Passport and come to US safely. Good luck
