Will I be limited by H1-b cap?

Recently, I got my H1-b visa approval filed by company A, and it will be valid in Oct. I currently work for company A in OPT status, but not in H1-b status. Now, I have to move to another state because of a family issue. If I find company B in another state will to file an H1-b application for me but the H1-b visa reaches the quota at that time, will I be limited by the cap?

If you have done post graduation in US, you will come under a different quoto altogether
