H4 ( Error In Form Ds156) Subramanya And Seniors Pls Help

There is an error in my DS156 form in Q No - 4 where they ask about the issuance date of the passport , the year wrongly got entered as 26-9-2001 instead of 26-9-2002 ...ie. the year got entered wrong. Now am not able to modify this field as this is greyed out , few of the suggesstions are that , i can correct this with by hand on the form while i take it for my interview.

Seek seniors valuable advise on the implications of this situation at the consulate at the time of interview.
