Having h1 approved+now want H4+later want to convert to h1--subramania help required

I got my h1 stamped. My wife also have g approved h1b petition from Oct, 2006 onward. she did not stamp her H1b visa yet. But now she want to stamp for h4 and accompany me as i have apprived and stamped h1. my question is:

1) will her h1b be invalid after stamping h4?
2) Will her h1b be valid in future?
3) can she stamp h1b in future while reaching in US?
4) her h1 approval came in august, 2006.. will this petition expires in august, 2007?

My main concern is i want to avoid her h1b stamping in India..
