H1 transfer

Hi All,

I came recently to US on H1 visa through a consultant firm and not received any pay stubs sofar from the employer. I have got a fulltime job offer and that new employer said that he will do h1 visa transfer even though paystubs are not there.

I heard from many people that INS/Immigration services will check for pay stubs for H1 visa transfer and its not possible with out paystubs. Legally is this possible and right thing to do. Will there be any issues in this regard?

Its not possible to transfer without paystubs. These consultants are big Frauds..never go by their words.

Its not possible to transfer without pay stub. If you are joining the new company do only after getting the approval. Otherwise you will be in trouble.

hi infact i am in the same situation...u have to have ur current paystubs and some times there is a chance of request for evidence for the last 3 months paystubs prior to the date of filing...so its never advisable to change ur H1 with out recent paystubs...

Thank you so much. I doubted about the consultant, I never heard like h1 transfer with out paystubs. So your replies confirmed me on this.
