    Hi,
    Recently my H1B is Approved & waiting to receive papers.
    Do i need to be employed at the time of stamping? I plan to quit the present job & take a break before coming to US..

    Pls advice.

    ---- It is in your interest to be employed and continue to be employed. The reason being sometimes the Visa processing may take longer than expected times and you will be stuck doing nothing. You have to wait till your Visa is processed, stamped and handed over to you

        It is in your interest to be employed or not. The US consulate is not much concerned about it. they only verify your credentials, job offer, job suitability etc. of you and the employer
