Hi Gurus,
I am a teacher who is in a dilemma.
I have my H1B - 2008 approval. My J1 expires on July 15 and some gurus here at the forum suggested for a B1 visa. Good suggestion. Thanks to them.
But I wish to know the following:
1) whether B1 visa has to be stamped at Chennai consulate to be effective?
2) Or could I continue to stay legally in the US without returning to India woth B1?
3) Does issuance of B1, puts the H1B out of status or invalid?
I would appreciate your expertise on these points.
I am sure Mr. Subramanya is on the look out to help people like me.
