H-1B Extension

Hi all,
1)My H-1B visa is valid till 09/30/07. I worked till November 2006, went to India in December 2006 returned in May 2007. As I did not work all these months,will there be any problem my status? Am I out of status?

2) When my employer applies for extension do i need to in job? I mean do I need to have paystub?

3) Can I leave to India when H1 extension under process?

Please help.
