Can somebody please post the format of "Letter from employer that describes the relationship with the Principal Applicant and the purpose of travel." which is required for H4 stamping.

How can a employer describe the relationship between the employer and his dependent.

Yes this is new weird requirement for H4 applicants. Check 3rd point under "Spouse / Dependent" Children section.

yeah i see that, I didnt see that before, I think i will have to get that letter from my employer too.

If you see here https://www.immihelp.com/h1-visa-stamping-documents/ it says that document is required only if the h4 applicant applies seperately.

Hi,

The letter mentioned is basically the Employment verification Letter(EVL).
I am just writing the draft.

To,
American Consulate General , Chennai
<Chennai Address>

Re : Employment Verification of <H1 Applicant Name>

Dear Sir /Madam,

This letter is to certify that <Name> is an employee at <Company Name> since <Joining Date> on permanent <full-time basis /part time> as <Job Position> .His/Her current Gross salary is USD <Salary><Salary in words> per annum.

Please feel free to contact us if your office should require any further information

<HR NAme>
<Designation details>
<Contact Number>
<Business Card attached>

This letter should be on the company Letter-Head.

The above letter is the generic/base for the EVL.

If you are going for H1 Stamping - then add JOB REPONSIBILITIES /PROJECT DETAILS to it.
If you are going for H4 Stamping -then add another line that
<Name> is the spouse of the <Principle Applicant Name> and requires H4 stamping for his/her visit to US
