Hi,

I got receipt for H1 this year. iam going to UK for 6 months in August. My question is , Can I attend H1 Stamping from Uk itself? Please reply. Thanks in advance,

No you will have to apply from country of residence.

Thanks for Your reply. I heard that I can go for H1 Stamping from a foreign country if I stay in that country for atleast 6 months(though we apply for H1 from India)?Is that not true?

The norm is get your stamping at your home country and Canada,Mexico are options. But the issue with Canada is, if in worst case something happens, you will have to return to india directly and get things sorted out and then try.
