What your consultant telling is correct , they will deduct the attony fees and some other transaction fees. I think these informations are initially told by your consultant before applying for H1. We all are informaed same way before applying the H1

vini, are you even aware of the rule that H1 visa expenses are to be borne by the employer and it is illegal to ask the employee for any part of the expense. Post a reply only if you know rules and facts. What his/her employer is doing is illegal and a complaint can be made against him to INS or DOL. Google search for complaint form and fill up and send it.
