my current employer has applied for H1b-2008.
Current Status: Approval notice sent.

Should i book slot for interview?
One more query is:
If my hubby applies for H4, will it be difficult for him to get it? He is also a sw eng.

Please reply if anyone of you know the answers.

If u have your link number ,you can book, but better consult with your sponser before doing all.

H4 for hubby

I have applied for h1b-2008. I want to apply H4 for my hubby also.
I want to know whether its diff to get h4 for my hubby, who is also a s/w eng.

Please let me know if any1 of u have come across this.

Be clear that your husband cannot work on H4. There should not be a problem otherwise, but sometimes they my send people on specialty occupations for an additional check.
