H4 to F1 Conversion!
Hello,
My wife is trying to get H4 visa back in India. But we are planning to get her in to PhD program and convert her visa to F1. I have few questions regarding this process.
1. Is this possible to do in the first place.
If it is:
2. Is there a time period that she has to stay in H4 before she can apply for F1.
3. Does she have to apply from India or abroad (Canada, Mexico etc) to apply for F1 and attend the interview, or can she do it, inside USA.
