L2 to H4

Hi,

I am currently on L2 visa. My husband is planning to change to H1 next month. I also have a H1 approved which will be valid from Oct this year can I change my stautus to H1 directly or I should first change it to H4 and then to H1? What should i do to change to H4 visa?

You need to fill out form I-539 to change status from L2 to H4.
