Maiden name instead of married name on H1B approved petition

Hi,

I have an urgent request. I would really appreciate if someone replied to the following query:

My H1B petition has been applied and approved in my maiden name while my active passport is in my married name. I do have my old cancelled passport with me but will this create an issue during the Visa process? Can someone tell me a solution for this? It was an error on the part of the employer.

---- Have some other documentation like a marriage certificate, driver's licence and other official documentation to show that there is a change in name. If you have the old Passport keep that with you and if asked to be shown, do so
