H1B visa status query

Hi all,

I appiled for H1B visa for 2007, I got RFE on my case, I have 151/2 years of education and 7 years of MNC experience.I have work exp in Wipro, EMC,netapp.So my consultant replied as 1/2 year edu taken from my work exp so he shown to USCIS as 16 years of edu + 51/2 years of work exp.Will it solve my RFE query.So USCIS will be ok with my exp .Please reply to my query.

Hi S. boy,
There is a provision where the USCIS will consider 3 years of experiance for 1year of eduation.
But your employer should have explained this in their cover letter to the USCIS along with your educational evaluation; when applying for your H1 petition.

Hi Rathi,

Thanks for ur input.I have been there US onsite 2 times on B1/B2 Visa through 2 diff companies.Will they consider that B1 and my exp?.

I have total 151/2 years of education and 71/2 years of work exp (MNCs).I got RFE on my case , my consulatant told he will takecare abt that query.I had been there US on B1 visa.Will it be any helpful for my H1 visa interviews.
