How long it will take for getting the papers after approval of application?

Hi Guys,

i was applied H1B visa this year(2007-2008).i got the approved status on 16th june 2007 but till now i didnt receive the papers.i mailed to my employer he told that he didnt receive the papers from INS.Could you please tell me how long it will take for getting the papers after approval of application?

Can i book the visa slot without papers?

Please Give the inputs on this...

Hi bganesh,
1. You will get your approval in few weeks time. But follow it up with USCIS.
2. No . you cannot take interview without your original I-797. Moreover, your online visa application will ask for H1B approval number.

my current status from 16 th JUNE is "Approval notice sent.".please tell me when can i get the papers?
