Query about H1 extension
Hi -
I am sure someone must have come across this kind of situation like what I am facing now. I am in the process of getting my H1B visa extended and my company has filed for the extension and am expecting the receipt of the application to be received in mid of this month. The current visa is valid until Sep 30 '07 and the US State driving license (DL) validity is also valid until Sep 30 '07. This means that I can drive the vehicle in US till Sep 30.
Can I extend my US DL based on the receipt for application of H1 visa extension? Can I get a temporary license until I receive approval or is there any other option of driving the vehicle in USA?
Please let me know any suggestions ....
