Is there enough time to change emlpoyer?

Hi,

My current H1 visa (6yrs) will expire in the first week of December 2008... which from today is just 15 months away.

My current employer is not doing very well and I received an offer from a new company. But I am not sure whether there is enough time for the new employer to renew my H1 visa beyond Dec 2008.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your help.

You can change your employer for sure, but the expiry date will be the DEC2008 on the new petition as well.
