H1b approved with COS but no documents provided

Hi,
I just got a fax of I797C from my new employer who applied for my H1B. It states the "The change of status is approved"

However, my employer is not ready to provide me any other supporting documents, including the new I94.

Is there any way to obtain a copy of these documents directly from USCIS? I heard that it is possible
