Hi,
I had been to India for a short duration in which I got engaged and did a registered marriage. I took an appointment for my spouse, but at the interview she could show the engagement album and not the marriage snaps. This is because photography is not allowed in registered marriages done in courts. Based on the album, the consulate is asking a question as to why the engagement was royal with so many people and the marriage was so simple? Is there a convincing answer to this? She explained to them that the marriage was registered, only family is allowed as witnesses, and that I was in India only for a short time. But they need something more specific...Answers would be appreciated.
Thanks
