VO did not take my I797

Hello All,

I attended H1b interview at chennai on 21 Sep 2007. It was a successful interview. She took my folder and taken out I797 and typed something in the computer. At the end she gave me that I797(Original) to me. I came to know that they should take it with passport.

Will there be any problem if VO did not take my I797(original)?

Please help me in this.

I had on sept 14th and mine was succesful too.
she didnt take i797..she returned back .
she took passport and ds 156,57 forms...and next day i got my passport stamped.
they dont take i797.

I797 is ours to keep. Consulate will not be taking it.
