L1B to EAD

I am on L1B and want to change my employer. Is it possible to file EAD directly, without filing form I-485?
Is it mandatory to do Change of Status for filing EAD from L1B?

what is the process

How should I go about getting EAD while I am on L1A blanket?
What are the forms I need to file?
Do I need an employer or I can file it myself?

well no EAD on L1 is possible. Try to get along with employer, find someone to sponsor h1 or file GC then you will get EAD
