H1B Stamping at Ciudad Juarez, Mexico

Hi,

I am to goto to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico for my visa stamping. I am changing from F1 - H1B visa . My F1 visa has expired but my I-94 says D/S. I have my opt card till May 2008, my I-20 till May 2008. I have got my I797 approval, for H1B starting end of October.

Is it a good idea to go to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico for the stamping. Has anybody in my scenario been there and gotten their H1B stamping.

There are no dates available in Chennai for the same, and I am planning to goto India during the End of November.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
