H1B Visa query

I got my H1 through one of the software consulting companies. I heard that we can work on any profession with a valid H1 Visa. Is that true?

I am from a pharmacy back ground so can I apply for pharmacy jobs using my current H1.

You can only work for the employer that sponsored you and do only the job that he sponsored you for.
