Please help : Traveling on old visa stamp but have new documents?

Hi!

My passport has the visa stamped from old employer and is valid for another 2 years.

I have transferred my H1b to a new employer and have all the documents (I797 etc). However, my old employer has canceled the old petition.

Now, If I travel abroad, can I re-enter the USA with the new petition and the old visa stamp? Or do I need to get a new visa stamp?

You can travel with old passport stamp and new approved petition.

Can you pls clarify that this stands true in spite of the fact that my previous employer has revoked the visa?
