H1 B Transfer from one company to another

Hi,

I need the below clarification. Please help me out with this.

1) I am on a H1 Visa of company A, while coming to US i have signed a paper that i cannot resign the company in USa and if i leave i need to pay some 100,000 $ to the company. So can i still tranfer my H1B. The paper is not on a bond its just a normal paper.

2) If company knows that i am going to leave can he stop my H1 b transfer.

Any paper you sign with a company, it is a obligation and legal papers.

It can be manupulated to their favor. If you are getting your pay check regularly then you may face problem. If the agreement is open ended, you may have some chances, if you approach an attorney who deals with labor cases.
