H1B approval validity

Hi,

I have my H1B approved and also got a Singapore EP. I am waiting for my H1B papers. I tried getting an online appointment for US Consulate, Mumbai and got a date of November 19th which i feel is quite long. Can i get a earlier date if i go in person and try to get a appointment?

Also if i travel to Singapore and then come back for US H1B stamping, for how long the approval is valid.

H1 approval is valid until it expires.

You can't get it faster if you apply in person.
