Can there be a transfer on H1 approval notice

Hi All,

I have got my H1b approval which is valid from 10/01/2007 to 09/29/2010. My current employeer has no immidiate plans to send me for interview or to US. Is it possible for me to search a new employer and go for transfer.

Yes you can switch jobs.

I think you didn't got my que. I have H1 approval from company X but I have not got my H1 stamped yet. So can I go for stamping from company Y instead of X.

h1 stamped case

hi frnds,
i have a friend of mine who got his h1 stamped in 2005,the employer is delaying the travel..and hasnt asked him to fly till now...they say that they r not in a position to give him employment right now as they r running short of projects..
can he find another employer for his.h1 transfer?
Have read somewhere that u need atleast 3 paystubs for a transfer.is this true?or can he contact another employer evn still at india itself??
pls advise..
