H1B transfer while holding EAD ( 485 reciept date is 4 months old)

Sir/Madam,

I have my I-140 approved 1 year back and got 484 receipt on Aug 10th. Got EAD on Oct 12th.

Now current consulting job is ending. Next job I got a permanent and they want to transfer my H1B onto their pay role. This will happen before 180 days of 485 receipt date.
Am I safe with my H1B transfer to new employer?

You can always do H1 transfer. However, whether you can continue your green card processing with new employer is not is a different story.
