Hi,
I am working for an employer on H1B for 2 years after my M.S graduation in the US. I got my H1B
visa stamping done last year. Now, my employer transferred me to another place, and I have been
working there for a year now. An amendment to this transfer of working place was filed by the company
and I have received the new amended I797.
Now, since my visa has the old I797 (EAC number) stamped on it, should I go to the US consulate once again
to get a new visa stamping usign the new I797?( even though the validity of the visa still exists and
I am still working for the same company/employer).
