Hello Friends,

Can any one guide me for my following query?


I am going to file H1 through Consultant for 2008.
If by i dont get my H1 then what are the chances that American Consulate may not grant me H4?
I am to get married in January 2009. So if i dont get H1 can i go on H4??

---- You can always file for your H4. the success of H1 not withstanding. Bothe the Visas are and will be considered as independent Visas as far as the US Consulate is concerned

---- Finally, if you are not successful for H1, there is no reason that you cannot apply for H4
