H1 Transfer without SSN n Paystubs

Hello

I came here 1.5 months back on H1 thru Company A, I have applied for SSN but they said it will take 10 weeks because of some verification etc so I will not get my SSN until Jan end. My company is not paying because I am on bench and I cant apply for any consulting opportunities because I dont have SSN.

What if I apply for a permanent position in Company B stating the reason for not having SSN n get selected..can I transfer my H1 without having paystubs from company A? because I dont hav SSN...

Can somebody please help me?

You can transfer ur H1 , Make sure that u talk to attorney before moving to that company ,
