Is it possible to get my H1B visa restamped 3rd time?

Hi,

Am on H1B. I understand that, am allowed to stay in US for 6 years using H1B. When I got my visa for the first time, its validity was for 2 years and 5 months. When I renewed my HIB, the validity was 2 years and 3 months.
My question is,
a. Will I be able to reclaim the remaining 1 year of HIB visa period? If yes, what needs to be done?

b. Of the five years that I had in H1B, I was in US for only 3 years (Remaining 2 years, I was in India). will I be able to claim the 2 years that I was outside US? If yes, how this can be done?

I would appreciate, if anybody can help me out in this.

Hello,
Yes, you can claim your remaining period with proper documentation. You should have an attorney to file for H1 extension and document your being out of US during that period with the help of I-94's and the date dtamps while coming in and going out of the country.
