All,

I came to US on h4 and got H1b in October 2006..

.But My consultant was not able to place me till March 2007.
I started working from March.

I had a valid stamped h4 visa till 2007 July.

Since i did not work from Oct 2006 till March 2007 , Would I be considered out of status during this period?

Can i go to mexico or Canada fro stamping?

Please help!!!!!
