I am on an H1-B visa, but I have been sponsored on a part time basis, so my income is in the mid 20's K per year. Also, I changed my status from B2 to H1 while in US. My wife has a valid B1/2 visa till 2009. I want to sponsor her on an H4. Will my income be a problem at the consulate, if she applies for H4. As in will they have a problem that i am on a part time basis and not full time. Also, should she come on her B1/2 or is H4 better in our situation. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks.
